Bhutan Disaster Risk Management Portal (Bhutan DRM Portal) is Geographical Information System (GIS) based multi hazard risk decision support system (MHRDSS) which will help Royal Government of Bhutan (RGOB), Corporates, Private entities and even individuals to understand the risk prevailing in relation to time and location. Understanding and pereiving the associated risk it can be used for making decision related to the disaster risk.

Bhutan DRM Portal is designed to cater to sharing the data or information sharing related to various aspects of risks such as hazards (that have struck in the past, striking presently and that can strike in future), exposures aspects like the population, infrastructures and amenities. Coping capacity of the country as a whole, or at community can also be understood with the information of prepositioning of the tools and equipment, presence of search and rescue personnel and other plans and programs that has been conducted, that is going on and that are in pipeline.

Being the repository of all the risk data, it can be used for drawing insights for decision making like planning program and projects, designing infrastructures and amenities for human settlement, inferring and projecting expenditures and so on.  

Having all the risk data and map and other infographic the overall profile can be understood visually from the Risk Profile Dashboard besides serving as Incident Management System (IMS) where by reports get directly populated in the portal.
